Fun way to quilt for math people

Every now and then, I sew together two equal (or as equal as I can get them) piece of felt and sew plaid lines 1 inch apart. After that, I take a sharpie marker, and mark out the missing angles to sew over. The result looks like this:
It kind of looks like a Football Playbook right?
